Urban landscape photography along the River IJ
The urban landcape photography workshop is held along the IJ. A fascinating mixture of modern architecture arises on the river banks, like the IJdock by Claus & Kaan, the EYE Museum by Delugan Meissl on the West IJ-docks or the modern canal houses on the East side. The river IJ is one of the busiest stretches of water in the city. Ferries bring pedestrians and cyclists to the other side, huge cruise ships find their way in and out of the dock, while freight ships pass on their way to and from the North Sea. Add touring boats and more and you can imagine the spectacle. Technique and composition go hand in hand during this photography workshop with Amsterdam photographer Anton Harfst, who offers inside views into Amsterdam.
