Custom made workshop, March 2013
Anton and Laurien were not only the perfect hosts, giving me a warm welcome to Amsterdam, but Anton’s tuition and guidance throughout my purpose-designed day proved to be first class. He demonstrated a genuine interest in my training needs and went out of his way to ensure that they were met. I would highly recommend Photothema to anyone who wants to develop their photographic skills. My photowalk around Amsterdam was expertly led by Anton and, despite the cold (!), I managed to absorb some really good ideas in respect of composition and exposure. Laurien’s delicious home-made soup was most welcome when we got back to the apartment. I hope to return at some time to gain some more benefit from Anton’s knowledge. I stayed in their guest room which met my basic needs for accommodation during my course – I was getting used to the stairs by the end of my stay! It was also good to meet Ajax the dog who was big but friendly!
